Each security officer is supervised by trained supervisors at least twice by day or night. Senior members of the Management team carry out impromptu visits at no extra cost to ensure that each security officer remains alert at all times.
The performance of each security officer is guided by details of the assignment instructions to be agreed upon ourselves and our customers and in the event of any slight violation we take quick remedial measures.
We allocate Relationship Managers to carry out specific security needs for organizations depending on nature of business. They will always ensure that the requirements of the contract are fully met and each security officer performs as is expected.
Specialized Guarding
A specially trained security officer performs services tailored to the needs of your organization. This is our most frequently used service. A specially trained security officer performs services that are individually tailored for each customer, since the services require customer knowledge and a close relationship. The services are tailored according to the customer’s business and needs, and they vary greatly. They may involve various types of access/exit control with or without technical support, for example, in public environments or monitoring business-critical equipments. In a specified area such as a construction site, the security officer will be required to do the listed items among others
Allow staff and any authorized person’s access into the company premises
Carry out tally work by physically confirming quantity of goods in vehicles driving in/out of sites or premises as detailed in delivery notes
Carry out body search on employee leaving the compound.
Maintain a watchful eye over the incoming persons to identify any person with ill motives.
Raise an alarm if notices any breach on the agreed procedures.
Report to management any missing/damaged property as soon as it is noticed
Ensure proper handing/taking over. Any anomaly noted to be communicated to senior management
Maintain a proper record of security situation by way of a permanent record on the Occurrence Book.
Receptionist/Concierge Services
A security officer performs a combination of services including access control/reception and customer service. Most companies have some form of reception area through which both employees and visitors pass daily. We offer a combined service where a receptionist/concierge greets visitors in a service-minded and friendly manner while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and security. In many cases this can be combined with switchboard operator services.
Fire Prevention/Protection Services
Our specially trained fire guards perform equipment control, patrols and monitor fire alarms. Fire prevention is crucial for many companies in order to operate their business without disruption. In most assignments we can offer complete fire safety solutions provided by specially trained fire guards. This could, for example, involve checking that fire safety equipment is compliant with regulations, patrolling premises from a fire prevention perspective, monitoring fire alarms and, in some cases, working with in-house fire fighters. Most fire guards have basic training in fire protection and fire fighting.

Our Rates.
Our rates are based on a 12 hour shift period per security officer per month plus VAT at the prevailing rates. The number of officers to be allocated to particular sites is determined by the outcome of security surveys always undertaken by our Security and Risk Assessment officer or any of our Security experts at no extra cost. Upon the survey the number of security officers to be deployed at each site shall be communicated and cost guidelines agreed upon taking into account set budget as well wage levels for each personnel involved in providing security.
Your Industrial Area Site.
In your case however, the Industrial area site is well know to Isaac Sirunde, one of our most effective Security personnel, who happens to have served you before, an officer we intend to deploy at the site to be responsible in ensuring that all the guards deployed are properly supervised by day and night and that they are operating as per the Assignment instructions. The Security In-charge will be available at the Industrial area site every day except on Sundays. During the night, the company shall appoint an assignment in-charge to undertake all the responsibilities undertaken by Isaac Sirunde at day time. All un-usual occurrences during the night shall be reported to Isaac as well as to senior members of the management team for immediate action. What Securier Kenya will require from you shall be some small office where Isaac will be operating from otherwise, no extra cost for his services. The company will meet all the cost.
Charges,
- @ Kshs 17500.00 per guard per month plus Vat @ prevailing rates.
Payment of Salaries of Security personnel
Our contract has a clause on payment. Services are paid in the month that they are rendered. We have always encouraged our customers to prepare payments by 25th of each month so that by 29th or 30th, all the security personnel are paid. A sample of this contract may be sent to you on draft so that you can go through and critique any clause that may not be favourable. As regards payments for the personnel therefore, Securier Cares Kenya Limited will require your support in order to meet wage/salary deadlines.
Metal Detectors.
In case of establishments with several entry points the company deploys male and female security personnel by both day and night. Each officer, male or female shall be equipped with Metal detectors as is the procedure of any assignment operated under similar or identical circumstances. As regards metal detectors, a modest charge per detector shall be imposed. This is to cater for the cost of servicing the detectors.
Supervision.
For supervision purposes, we have customized resources for day & night supervision where guards are 10 and above in number. In assignments with less than 10 guards, a supervisor on a motorcycle will be available to provide supervisory service. Alternatively, we can deploy an Assignment in-charge .Securier Cares takes great care in handling its customer’s property, prevention of injury to employees and also targets to always achieve expected wage payment times. This however requires support from our customers by ensuring that payment for services rendered is received promptly preferably by 25th of every month.
We minimize security risks by ensuring that;
ü We have armed police officers on board our patrol vehicle every time we are on impromptu visits.
ü We remain within the circles of assignment instructions agreed upon between ourselves and customers and create a team of fully vetted and honest employees seconded by areas chiefs or officers whose conduct is beyond reproach.
ü Regular reshuffle of our guards is also observed to minimise complacency.
ü Refresher courses for employees to keep them up to speed with changes in the industry. Any customer requiring going through a copy of the training program will be expected to ask for the same in writing.
Securier Cares Kenya Limited team have always highlighted to its esteemed customers the advantages of using professional services against a background of using own security men integral to their business system.
We are already on contract with organizations in manufacturing and retail concerns. In each establishment we have moved in to conduct security survey to determine as accurately as possible the number of Security officers who would be sufficient to man the establishment. We have also had the opportunity to undertake Risk Assessment exercise to determine the level of exposure. This will be done to all your sites granted the opportunity with a view to sealing all loopholes that would otherwise encourage theft, pilferage, damage to property and injury to personnel on site,
The main advantages as mentioned to one of your contractors Mr. Robert Kalima who referred us to you after it became evident that security is under your office are as follows:
(a) Collusion
In today’s culture of people there is high level of collusion to defraud management of cash or equipment from within. The external security threat is no-existent these days. You therefore need to separate security men with other staff to reduce would-be collusion and thieving from within your construction sites or any other premises.
(b) Union Threat.
There is always an effort by trade unions to unionize the work force. If you use professionals in security, this threat will be minimized because if your other personnel are targeted, the security men will not.
(c) Administrative
Besides direct wages, which you have to pay your integral security personnel, there are other indirect costs such as payment of relievers, overtime on public holidays, leave costs, sicknesses absence and also cost of shift, N.S.S.F, N.H.I.F, plus the numerous welfare family problems. Many valuable hours are lost in the process including management time. In a situation where security is someone’s responsibility, you can demand high quality of service which in the long run is of much reduced costs, compared with your costs, which once computed as applicable in this paragraph, you will be surprised.
(d) Professionalism
Finally, you can achieve security professionalism from professionals and you can determine and demand quality of security service which you deserve for the price you pay. You may argue that there are also disadvantages and Securier Cares Kenya would agree, but it depends on which side you toss the coin. We can discuss these when Securier Senior Managers visit you in the near future.
At this point, Securier Cares Kenya limited finds it necessary to encourage you to consider using our Security services as follows:

Each of these services shall be operated under a contract signed by both business partners.
Commencement date.
At this point in time, having been tested in one of the busiest bread companies in Kenya, Dippoly Festive and Bakers land where we handle a contract of 25 guards, i am convinced that we are in a position to render your Nairobi sites and any other sites with services of the highest standards with Monthly Security reports being provided at the end of the first week of each month. Given a chance therefore we would prefer ample notice for us to plan well. A commencement date of 1st September 2015 is okay with us.
